A quick look at a poll on the IMDB website made me realize something. Many of my favorite movies have one word titles. From their list of the top-rated one-word movie titles, I enjoyed:
Goodfellas
Psycho
Alien
Aliens
Amadeus
Braveheart
Jaws
Unforgiven
Fargo
Patton
Platoon
Glory
Spartacus
Rocky
Relatively unimportant, but interesting.

The inclusion of Platoon surprises me in that list generally and with the little I might assume I know about you from following your blog.
From the nature of my presence online people sometimes assume things about me. One is that I am only open to points of view that agree with mine. I disagree with Oliver Stone's politics and hate most of his movies -- JFK comes to mind pretty easily -- but Platoon was simply a good movie.
