...except Tarantino lifted this almost word for word from the 1976 Sonny Chiba chop sockey flick Karate Kiba, also known as The Bodyguard. (Not to be confused with the Kevin Costner movie.) Here's the section so that you can judge for yourself:

"[15] Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred;
[16] Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.
[17] And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them."
So both movies pretty much made it up, except Tarantino (or Jules) stole it.

So what? There is little original material in any movie.
Here's one for you, Avatar is Dances With Wolves, think about it.
Military man falls for native woman, turns against his own country in support of the natives, becomes one of them.
Also The Last Samurai and Lawrence of Arabia. Avatar's almost a remake of Pocahontas.
The reason I singled out Tarantino is he does so much copying of other movies (referred to as "homages" by his allies.) The Bride's costume when fighting the Crazy 88's is Bruce Lee's in Game of Death. The final standoff in Reservoir Dogs is from Leone's The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. And don't you think Inglorious Basterds owes something to Lee Marvin and The Dirty Dozen?
None of this is news to movie buffs, but I hadn't known until recently about Chiba and Ezekiel 25:17.
Here's another, the code names in Reservoir Dogs, Mr. Green, Mr. Blue etc. is right out of the mid 70's film "The Taking of Phelam, 123"
