Still Think We Can All Get Along?

From James Wolcott's blog in Vanity Fair magazine:

"I don't want the Republican Party simply defeated in November, I want to see it smashed beyond all recognition, in such wriggling, writhing, anguished disarray that it can barely reconstitute itself...."

That sounds like someone who doesn't care what ACORN has to do for Obama to win. Wonder how many other Democrats feel the same way?

The puppet speeks!!!...or not? Who actually authored Obama's book "Dreams From My Father"? Apparently we have a ghost writer in our mist. How appropriate, so close to "All Hallow's Eve" and all. Would his excellance, the Masiah Obama claim credit for thoughts that were not his own? Would Heil Obama accept praise and accolades from the "New York Times" and "Time Magazine" for, quote, "the best-written memoir ever produced by an American politician." This website is worth a look and your consideration;

Obama should be a guest on "What's My Line"

The following is from non-partisan factcheck.org. You can find similar information on many, many other non-partisan websites. This ACORN issue is simply an attempt by the Republican party to discredit the desire by the majority of mainstream American to pull this country away from the radical right wing.

Neither ACORN nor its employees have been found guilty of, or even charged with, casting fraudulent votes. What a McCain-Palin Web ad calls "voter fraud" is actually voter registration fraud. Several ACORN canvassers have been found guilty of faking registration forms and others are being investigated. But the evidence that has surfaced so far shows they faked forms to get paid for work they didn't do, not to stuff ballot boxes.

Your sentiment pretty much illustrates my point. ACORN has been engaged in massive voter registration fraud for years. It would be foolish to assume that all false registrations they have submitted have been caught.

The FBI apparently believes the matter is worth investigating, in 9 different states. Another report indicates that a third of votes cast in a particular district in New Mexico in a Democrat primary were fraudulent.

While I hesitate to trot out the old saw of smoke and fire, there is no question that ACORN is at best a legally questionable outfit. It is a reasonable assumption that an organization that commits, or continually allows its employees to commit, voter registration fraud, will have no problem moving to voter fraud. Perhaps the FBI's investigation will get to the truth of the matter.

My main point stands true. Democrats don't care what kind of shenanigans, legal or not, have to go on so that they can win the election. All that matters is winning, no matter how it's done.

What about the end of Volcott's blog: "so desperate for answers that it looks to Newt Gingrich for visionary guidance, his wisdom and insight providing the perfect cup of hemlock to so that it can rot in the salted earth of memory unmissed and unmourned in toxic obscurity."

hmm...
